Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d)

In this position, you take ownership of your business area/portfolio and proactively drive major Sales activities (Growth/Budget/KPIs) together with the Project Management Team for our DIG products, i.e. high pressure fuel pumps, injectors, or sensors. This role requires excellent communications and interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders and the competence of cross-functional business management.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • You and your team are the point of contact for customers and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries as well as build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Interface with related OEM key contacts, Purchasing / Project Team / Supplier-Management
  • Own, coordinate and manage sales budgets for the respective accounts and main business activities
  • Analyse commercials and create proposals (incl. benchmark) to pursue key customer programs; support commercial aspects of product development and design changes
  • Support customer visits to manufacturing sites and sales offices globally
  • Track and update customer contracts
  • Identify growth opportunities and prepare the respective sales/management reports

Profile and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Engineering or Business Science / Management, etc.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Sales and/or (Technical) Program Management / Business Development.
    Experience in Automotive Powertrain (incl. Hybrid/eMobility ) is a Plus
  • Experience in working with German OEMs on a global base is an important criteria
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good Leadership skills and first experience in cross-functional team lead
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel while paying adequate attention to detail
  • Willingness and interest for international travels & teamwork
