The Role
As a Client Director you will be the global business owner of the assigned Platinum account in the Banking and Financial Services industry, responsible for driving the account growth for Hitachi Vantara and managing account P-L. In this role you will serve as a strategic partner to CxO-level clients, guiding / supporting their strategic agenda. You will also play the role of Sales Executive for Digital Infrastructure (DI) business, with responsibility for orchestrating DI sales and the different Hitachi Vantara business units - respective senior executive stakeholders.

• Own client's business objectives to identify potential solution need(s) that can be supported by Hitachi or partner offerings
• Continually maintain and expand senior client relationship (CxO-Level) through regular business reviews and other strategic planning sessions
• Partner with Digital Solutions (DS) Sales Executive, CTOs to qualify DS cross-sell opportunities
• Drive DI sales discussions with support of dedicated DI sales support, and engage other DI resources as required
• Oversee overall opportunity progression for DS, engaging as required by DS Sales Executive
• Drive client negotiations - strategic business development
• Establish long-term business for 3+years based on Hitachi Vantara platinum sales framework
• Manage business and P-L for the entire account globally with necessary business acumen and overall accountability for revenue growth and profit
• Coordinate with DS Sales Executive to understand proposal strategy for DS opportunities and provide input as needed
• Develop and lead global virtual account team (>30 FTE overall, plus <10>• Follow-up with client post-implementation to ensure satisfaction
• University degree in business economics or information technology (Master-degreee or equivalent desired)
• Deep understanding of the BFSI industry and gained in consultative solution selling roles.
• Strong leadership skills in order to drive and motivate assigned virtual global team
• Strong client network and relationships into different decision makers including CxO-level
• Executive communications, engagement and influence, including:
• Experience leading successful negotiation of multi-million dollar sales proposals
• International business experience
• Exceptional communication skills with a confident demeanor and level of comfort leading discussions
• Strong networking and collaboration skills, working in a team environment and across large and complex organizations (internal - external)
• Superior written and oral communication skills (fluent in German - English), with the ability to explain complex concepts without a reliance on jargon and to all levels of audience.
• Strong negotiation and business closing skils
• Excellent business acumen and industry insight
• Very good organizational and program management skills
• Solution knowledge and expertise in information management solutions ideally with further knowhow in digital data ops solutions (e.g. big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, internet of things)
