Location: Remote/Home Office

Summary

Hitachi America Ltd. is searching for a Project Coordinator to join the Particle Therapy Systems Division. Per direction of the Division Director/Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the sales function and the project execution of the Particle Beam Therapy (PBT) business in North America.

The position requires proficiency in both English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales function in making effective sales presentations and developing/presenting successful sales proposals
  • Interact with customers on commercial/contract aspects in ongoing project execution
  • Conduct application of relevant permits and registration and other administrative work
  • Help to establish site office and organization
  • Participate in relevant industry and professional associations and attend related technical conferences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare required documentation for the PBT business including translation of technical literature and operations & maintenance manuals etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, project execution or related role is required.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese is required.
  • Must be capable of working independently as well as a part of cross-functional team.
  • Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation) and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with various personnel demonstrating a good attitude and function in a multi-cultural dynamic work environment
  • Willingness to travel both domestically (up to twice/month) and internationally (up to twice/year) post COVID-19.
  • Basic knowledge of MS office and latest PC technology
