What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager- Agile Coach that has proficiency in coaching Agile and JIRA across both business and technical organizations. As the Program Manager you will own processes, and guidelines to support this transformation. You will also help teams across the company to successfully transition to Agile.   • Define and implement Agile metrics to optimize the delivery of software products through the assessment of responsiveness, quality, productivity, and customer and business value
  • Utilize feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and partners with others to coach the scrum teams to continuously improve
  • Coach the scrum teams to improve collaboration, self-organization, and Innovation
  • Agile - Technical Learning: Actively seek and lead a variety of learning opportunities such as Communities of Practice, conferences, classroom training and independent study to further develop self and community
  • Provide Agile coaching and training to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile change agents, functional managers
  • Collaborate directly with development teams to coach and guide them on the mechanics of Lean and Agile methods to achieve optimal team effectiveness
  • Create and deliver customized Agile training to all levels and Agile roles within the organization
  • Provide expert advice in discussions about Jira/Confluence governance
  • Mentor potential/existing coaches and Agile change agents
  • Continuously assess the Agile maturity of teams and individuals at all levels, educating and mentoring to address gaps, support data driven decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Expert at Agile ceremonies and can work to understand when and which ceremonies would create the best outcomes for teams
  • Champion best practices and processes
  • Identify roadblocks that challenge the move to Agile and either escalate, mitigate, or resolve
  • Help drive cross-functional alignment and decisions required across product engineering teams

What You Bring To The Team
  • 6+ years of experience in program management and change management
  • 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach
  • Certified Agile Coach certification and expertise and certifications in one or more Agile methodologies
  • Can influence and affect change at all levels of the organization without having positional authority, and you have experience communicating up to the executive level of an organization
  • Proven track record of coaching, developing presentations, and facilitation skills, with experience doing each of these in a remote environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and express complex ideas to a wide variety of people and groups
  • Knowledge of and experience with successful Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban
  • Sufficient flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment including modifying practices to create a practical migration to Agile
  • Have excellent understanding of Agile release planning
  • Knowledge of development methodologies, project planning and risk/issue management
  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, - time management skills
  • Familiar with System Development Life Cycle
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent team building and coaching skills
