Summary of the position:

The Director, Digital Transformation contributes directly to Sullair’s growth and development using technology.  This person will work closely with Sullair cross-functional teams to propose and deliver digital solutions for Sullair, our channel, and our end customers.  This position drives changes in digital transformation and customer experiences.  Also responsible for translating business needs to technical solutions through a strong understanding of the digital landscape, trends, challenges and opportunities. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ability to recommend best practices and business process efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose, develop, test and implement functional data driven and/or technical solutions to achieve business goals.
  • Develop practical solutions and methodologies.
  • Develop and leverage company data to deliver growth.
  • Lead IoT expansion for Sullair growth.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing organizational policies and procedures for department projects, monitor effectiveness of policies and procedures and make revisions or recommendations, as necessary.
  • Provide direction to other project team members on how to successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • Effectively communicate program status and progress against objectives to Sullair leadership team.
  • Act as subject matter expert in all aspects related to data collection, analysis and digital transformation.
  • Be a thought leader in emerging technology across global regions.  Possess excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in both information technology and business administration.
  • Strong ability to solicit, understand and document business requirements, processes and workflows, and translate into process design and development.
  • Ability to create detailed project documents, including but not limited to a Charter, Business Requirements Document, Proposal, Request for Proposals (RFP), Status Reports, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational, documentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with drafting use case scenarios and test cases.
  • Experience with procurement processes and related documents.
  • 8+ years leading a team
  • Proficient understanding of Agile tools and Software Development Tools.
