What you'll be doing

  • Work on and lead different styles of engagements such as product development, technical delivery and advisory

  • Conduct technical workshops, prepare, and present POCs/Pilot/Demo solutions to stakeholders

  • Translate business requirements into technology requirements

  • Take a leadership role on projects and ownership of deliverables, demonstrating experience handling projects through the entire lifecycle. This includes running multi-phase/multi-resource (on-shore and off-shore teams) projects with a high customer satisfaction

  • Design both high-level and detailed design documents and implement innovative solutions using the most recent Azure services

  • Undertake people development and business management activities to help grow the expertise within the practice to exploit depth of knowledge and professional experience;

What you will bring to the team

  • BI or consulting experience, working in high profile projects in Data and Analytics Solutions

  • Experience with some of the following: Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services

  • Traditional Microsoft BI stack: SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS

  • Background in enterprise BI - Data Warehousing solutions
  • Knowledge - experience of data modelling tools and techniques including, but not limited to, dimensional modelling and master data management techniques

  • Understanding of different programming languages (.NET or others)

  • Experience with Agile development and delivery practices such as Scrum and Kanban

  • Experience with modern development techniques - git, automated testing, CI/CD, etc

  • Ability to solve customer problems through appropriate (cloud) technologies

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort

  • Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence onshore and offshore teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects
