Summary of the position:
Manages the Supplier Quality resources to reduce supply chain quality risks. Maintains the Supplier Quality System elements of the Supplier Management Process (SMP). Drives continuous improvement of supplier component quality (increase lifecycle, reduce scrap, improve processes) and holds suppliers accountable for producing defect-free parts within specifications. Monitors Supplier Quality Performance (PPM) and audits supplier internal processes. Accountable for the development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of Supplier Quality processes and procedures. Directs a team of strategic and tactical Supplier Quality Engineers. This position is a working lead/supervisor position. The intent for this position is to transition into a Supplier Quality Manager role after proven experience at Sullair with the role of Supplier Quality Lead.
The position will be at the Sullair Michigan City manufacturing location.
