About the Opportunity

HCA has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Parts Administrator to join the team. Based in Gunnedah, this position will see you joining our parts division where your core focus will be to provide end-to-end administrative support from an operational standpoint. You will be an integral part of the team and recognised for being a creative problem solver as you identify every opportunity for continuous improvement in sourcing and supplying parts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong, developed awareness and commitment to Hitachi's number one priority - safety
  • Demonstrated knowledge and previous experience in a similar parts administration function or parts support role
  • Confident use of CRM system - raising sales orders, ordering parts from HCA and local suppliers, invoicing and accurate data management (experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be a distinct advantage)
  • Ability to use Excel
  • A positive attitude, the ability to take initiative, ability to take on new challenges, take on ownership of specific tasks and work as part of a small parts team to achieve the customer outcomes
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • Previous experience in earthmoving or associated industries would be highly regarded, but is not essential

This position will be a Monday to Friday 7.6-hour day / 38-hour week based at our Gunnedah branch, working alongside another parts admin to cover 7am to 5pm operating hours. Either 7am to 3pm or 9am to 5pm shifts
