About the Opportunity

Our Port Hedland branch has an exciting opportunity for a Service Supervisor to join the team and oversee its branch operations. In this role, you'll enjoy leading and positively enabling our Field Service team to meet and exceed service delivery, quality maintenance outcomes on Hitachi OEM product lines whilst overlooking expense control in line with budgets.

Focusing on ensuring a safety-first culture, you'll coordinate team activities to meet performance targets, timesheet deadlines and check that all service documentation is accurate and entered on time. You will enjoy partnering with our customers to resolve inquiries and liaise with suppliers and technical support to deliver Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic trade qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Supervisory Role with frontline operational staff, with the desire to develop, influence and motivate the team
  • Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight timeframes
  • Demonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regarded
  • Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationships
  • Safety focus and abide by site safety processes
  • A valid heavy rigid driving license
