We are currently seeking an experienced Trade Assistant to work with trades persons on the day to day activities of the Adelaide Workshop & Yard.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor your main responsibilities include:

  • Machinery washing, cleaning & detailing.
  • Assist with assemble and fitment of attachments and components to new machine builds.
  • Assist with repairs and general servicing of earthmoving equipment
  • Maintain a high level of workshop presentation and housekeeping
  • Assist with machinery movements and machine spotting.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in a safe manner
  • Placing parts orders and inspecting parts deliveries to workshop jobs.

To be successful in this role:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools
  • Mechanical experience in the earthmoving or associated industries.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current Drivers Licence and Forklift Licence
  • Have a safety focus and abide by site safety processes
