The Opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, our Launceston branch has an exciting opportunity for this new and exciting position. We are currently seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to manage all service operations including but not limited to, planning, organising, leading & controlling service operations to meet customer requirements.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing all scheduled and non-scheduled work to ensure efficient utilisation of labour, equipment and resources to effectively deliver the services required by customer support staff and retail customers
  • Provide timely and accurate quotations, followups and work orders for retail and service exchange jobs, delivery notices and service documentation in line with company processes
  • Manage all service personnel administration for the branch including timesheets, travel and accommodation, and processing out of pocket expenses
  • Update and maintain company service databases, & registers in line with company process & procedures

To be successful in your application you will need:

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation and a preparedness to go the extra mile
  • Experience within a similar role (eg, planning and scheduling of field service mechanical technicians or similar)
  • Technical knowledge of earthmoving equipment or similar industry would be advantageous

The successful candidate will be someone who has the ability to work well under pressure and enjoys the challenges of working in a busy service department. Your ability to multitask and your attention to detail will be essential.
