Summary of the position:

Responsible for creating improved processes and accurate shipping documentation for Sullair shipments at the Neovia facility in Fairfield, Ohio.  Other duties include, but are not limited to, providing support for processing drop ship receipts, responding to requests for freight quotes, assisting with other shipping/routing inquiries, and filing loss and damage freight claims.

Duties and responsibilities:

SAP Super User implementation

  • Train 3PL staff on effective and appropriate usage of SAP
  • Single point of contact for all IT/SAP related needs
  • Standard work of new SAP ERP

Packaging standardization project lead

  • Documentation of all weights, dimensions of all parts (3rd party will perform activity)
  • Lead for parts packaging optimization and integration into the Sullair IoT platforms

Day to Day support

  • Overall IT maintenance, and future system deployment
  • Consolidations (Consolidate many Pick List for larger shipment) 
  • MSC Orders (Must Ship Complete orders) 

Continuous Improvements

  • New product packaging standard work (new SKU’s introduced) When Vendor does not use Sullair Standardized Packaging guidelines Sullair employee will determine repacking standard work
  • Makes recommendations for kitting and assembly improvements withing the Aftermarket Group
  • Identifies packaging improvements and makes recommendations for streamlining operations
  • Work to ensure 3PL for FIFO requirements are continually met and makes recommendations for improvement where necessary
  • Measurements of racking and bin locations with incoming products to obtain weights and dims to allow new SAP ERP to auto populate locations for put away (Manually done now)   

International Shipping improvements

  • Packaging and crating requirements and improvements
  • Weights and Dims per piece and full skid quantities
  • Cross shipments
  • Various other duties upon request



  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent work experience

Professional experience:

  • 2+ years Logistics experience preferred

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • SAP
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
