What you’ll be doing

The team within GBS is busy establishing the function, including the structure of the team, ways of working and processes.  To help guide that work, there is an opportunity for a HR Technology Specialist. 

The Enabling Technology serves as the subject matter expert on HR technology (e.g. learning, benefits systems, compensation tools, mobility systems) outside of Workday able to support the implementation of HR technology for group companies as they join GBS. This role is highly analytical and front facing for GBS in providing support to primary stakeholders and the business in general. As a HR Technology SME, the Enabling Technology Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, and testing of relevant HR systems.

This role will be a mixture of remote working and based from Hitachi’s office in Bangalore.

What you bring to the team

We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision.  Some of the skills and experience we look for includes:

  • Ensure smooth and timely transition of group companies to GBS with regards to HR enabling technology
  • Manage requirements across HR technology systems (e.g. learning, benefits systems, compensation tools, mobility systems)
  • Work across HRIS, IT, and other technology teams/vendors and provide GBS HR point of view
  • Collects, structures, and analyze functional requirements to translate into technical requirements
  • Has knowledge of internal HRIS tools and market leading technology trends
  • Utilize technology to optimize GBS HR processes and employee experience
  • Provide technology considerations to incorporate into Change Management and Employee Experience
  • Provides timeline, budget, staffing, and technology requirement considerations to Project Manager
