The Role

HCA's Adelaide branch is seeking an enthusiastic Service Coordinator to join the team. This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys varied work in a friendly and successfully busy work environment. You will be an influential member of the team coordinating service personnel and working cross-departmentally to ensure the efficient scheduling and planning of our labour service delivery to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing scheduled and non-scheduled work for service to ensure efficient utilisation of labour, equipment and resources to effectively deliver the services required by customer support staff and retail customers
  • Provide timely and accurate quotations and work orders for retail and service exchange jobs, delivery notices and service documentation in line with company processes
  • Coordinate service personnel and administration for the service truck including timesheets, service reports, job preparation and invoicing
  • Update and maintain company service databases, registers and field service fleet vehicles
  • Monitor oil sample reporting for follow up
  • Submit detailed reports on behalf of the branch to both Hitachi/Bell for product improvements and resolving of customer issues.

To be successful in your application you will need:

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation and a preparedness to go the extra mile.
  • Experience in similar role with demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling of field service mechanical technicians (or similar).
  • Technical knowledge of earthmoving equipment would be advantageous
  • Sound administration and database management experience
  • Safety Conscious - A strong, developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety

The successful candidate will be someone who has the ability to work well under pressure and enjoys the challenges of working in a busy field service department. Your ability to multitask and your attention to detail will be essential.
