The Opportunity

Due to recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our Service team based in Launceston. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of our field staff to ensure that all work is planned and scheduled to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan and schedule work to ensure efficient utilisation of labour, equipment and resources to effectively deliver the services required to our customers
  • Manage all service personnel administration for the branch including timesheets, long distant travel and accommodation, and processing out of pocket expenses
  • Provide timely and accurate quotations and work orders for jobs, delivery notices and service documentation in line with company processes
  • Update and maintain company service databases, registers and field service fleet vehicles
  • As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a similar scheduling / coordination role within a related industry
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask with strong attention to detail
  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation and a preparedness to go the extra mile
  • Technical knowledge of earthmoving equipment would be advantageous
