About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Projects Manager to manage and oversee in conjunction with the client the full term overhauls of our EH5000AC3 Haul Truck Fleet from Maules Creek Mine. These overhauls will take place in the Gunnedah Hitachi workshop currently under construction.

Reporting to the After Sales, Major Projects Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, coordinating and safely executing related maintenance and warranty tasks in line with project schedules and budgets.
  • Managing Sub Contract suppliers, including putting processes in place to ensure compliance with safety, budget and specification requirements.
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure objectives are achieved and in line with Hitachi specification
  • Managing all direct and indirect Gunnedah tradesperson and related project administration requirements in line with HCA standards and processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualifications and proven Supervisory/Project Management experience.
  • Microsoft Project Planning skills.
  • Proven experience managing similar projects involving mobile equipment in the mining industry.
  • High level interpersonal, time management, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities to strict deadlines.
  • A proven track record concerning safety and quality assurance
