The Opportunity

We are seeking a PART TIME HR Assistant for our Global HQ in the Perimeter Center area of Atlanta. This is an on-site position; remote work is not available for this position. The weekly estimated hours will be 20-25 hours per week.  The purpose of this position is to assist the H-E Parts International Human Resources in establishing and maintaining current HR best practices and assist to leadership with HR initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources

  • Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.
  • Provide support and conduct maintenance activities for various global programs and initiatives with regards to performance management, succession planning, policy and procedures, payroll, recruitment, termination, benefits and HR Systems.
  • Coordinate creation, compilation and distribution of global HR reports for organizational deadlines.
  • Assist in distribution of policies & procedures throughout the organization.
  • Assist in development and coordination of orientation/onboarding for new hires.
  • Manage content on HR Intranet sites.
  • Track and manage training assignments and communication from parent company.
  • Collect, and in some cases, conduct stay and exit interviews.  Compile results on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide back up support to North American Payroll & Benefits and Workday Analyst.
  • Manage and coordinate HR file room.  Maintain required files, provide support to electronic document maintenance, and insure completeness and accuracy of employee files.
  • Perform additional duties and assist in global HR strategic projects as assigned.

DECISION MAKING:

Position will not be required to make decisions and recommendations that will directly impact the organization.

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS:

Position requires collaboration with all members of the Global HR Team.  

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • 1-2 years of office experience; or in lieu of experience, any college degree in HR or business  
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness and ability to learn every day
  • Willingness and desire to be a hardworking member of a globally diverse team.
