The HR Shared Services Team plays a crucial role in the end-to-end process of supporting all Hitachi Vantara employees, being a part of most important employee's life cycle processes, collaborating with all managers and constantly assisting in employee's daily request. This Team is responsible for proactively partnering with other HR Teams and global team members to achieve the best employee experience.

What you'll be doing

Operating as part of a Global Centralized HR Support Center, the HR Advisors (HRAs) are responsible for providing Human Resources administrative and staff support for Global HR, employees and managers. The HR Shared Services Manager's primary responsibility is managing daily workload of the team via our internal case management tool, "AskHR", which includes direct client interface as well as research, analysis and report preparation. This role is responsible for being first point of contact in case of any escalation from the business; cooperating with other HR roles and building relationships within other departments. Work is generally of a critical, time-sensitive or confidential nature. HRSS Manager's responsibility is leading the team of HR Advisors, evaluating their performance on regular basis; manage the delivery of end-to-end HR Operations support to employees and line managers for a given country; continuously drive up the quality of HR processes and support provided, through operational excellence and process simplification, aimed at improving overall employee experience.

What you bring to the team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work discretely on a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues and customer focused attitude.
  • An ability to manage the team from 10 people
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to research, compile and clearly present data
  • Familiarity with HR Systems - Processes.
  • Attention to detail and strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • An ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure of time to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take ownership of highly complex tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and change management skills.
