Job Description

This is a dual role with approximately an 80:20 split.

As HR Advisor you will partner with the leaders of particular business areas to build capability, develop people solutions and enhance performance. You will also be first point of contact on HR matters for all people within those business areas. You will be supported by our HR Manager.

As Office Manager you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of our London office.

Key HR Advisor Responsibilities
  • managing recruitment processes
  • onboarding new employees
  • identifying development needs
  • monitoring and updating HR policies
  • managing appraisal processes
  • developing action plans for employee satisfaction
  • supporting the HR Manager with employee engagement initiatives
  • supporting the HR Manager with capability, disciplinary and grievance investigations

Key Office Management Responsibilities
  • being first point of contact for building management and visitors to Hitachi Solutions
  • maintaining internal meeting rooms and organising external meeting rooms whenever necessary
  • signing for post and arranging couriers on request
  • managing our office suppliers and placing new orders on an ad-hoc basis
  • being a fire marshal


  • 3 years or more of hands-on Human Resources experience
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Good negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
