The position of the CPQ Transformation Program Leader will lead Hitachi Vantara's overall CPQ transformation. The transformation will involve working with a Systems Integrator and various internal teams, including Global Sales, Finance, Pricing Operations, Supply Chain, Partner Operations, and Information Technology to finalize the CPQ assessment and simplify Hitachi Vantara's existing CPQ footprint.
The CPQ transformation will be part of our effort to streamline our front office applications and includes consolidating and restructuring our Salesforce CRM instances.

The objective of the CPQ transformation project is to transition to a CPQ platform that offers advanced functionality needed for our expanding business needs while providing the capability to develop our own product enhancements. The project will be implemented in phases to meet both short- and long-term milestones, while balancing financial exposures.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the CPQ application transformation in coordination with the consolidation and streamlining of our Salesforce instances
• Assist with the selection of a suitable Systems Integrator
• Interface and direct Systems Integrator during all phases of the implementation project
• Assist in the development of a phased project schedule that includes the minimum functionality needed for an initial production deployment and post-deployment deliverables
• Collaborate with internal teams on transition plans, and long-term technical requirements
• Assist with the development of an overall project plan to meet project timelines and balancing longer-term technical objective.
• Manage the implementation plan to meet project milestones and deliverables
• Develop project presentations for executives covering milestones, progress compared to project plan, remediations, and overall scoring of project tracks
• Assist with coordination of interactions between team working on Salesforce CRM consolidations
• Assist in identifying in-house resource requirements for post-deployment support of the CPQ application, Including development resources
• Work through conflicts with internal teams and systems integrator
• Long-term operational responsibilities including leading a support team

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree (minimum), in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline
• Broad work experience with program management of large projects in a global organization
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise level cloud based CPQ implementations interfacing to Salesforce CRM
• 12+ years of overall Information Technology application implementation experience with emphasis on project management for large scale implementations with cross-functional teams
• Experience across a broad CPQ solution set including, but not limited to Salesforce CPQ and FPX CPQ applications and other major CPQ leaders
• Experience in working with and directing a System Integrator for large implementation projects
• Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements/story gathering, analysis, solution design, development, testing (unit, integration, end-to-end user), implementation, and support
• Experience in working in a cross-functional team environment with business unit representatives from Sales, Professional Services, Finance, Information Technology, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
