The Role

With strong growth in our Service division, HCA's Newcastle branch is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Service Administrator to join the team. This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys varied work in a friendly and successfully busy work environment. You will be an influential member of the team coordinating service personnel and working cross-departmentally to ensure the efficient scheduling and planning of our labour service delivery to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Reporting directly to the Branch Supervisor, your responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing all scheduled and non-scheduled work to ensure efficient utilisation of labour, equipment and resources to deliver the services required by retail customers effectively
  • Provide timely and accurate quotations and work orders for retail and service exchange jobs, delivery notices and service documentation in line with company processes
  • Manage service personnel and manage administration, including timesheets, service reports, job preparation and invoicing
  • Update and maintain all service maintenance contracts held by the branch.
  • Develop & implement strategic plans to improve performance, equipment reliability and lower maintenance costs.

To be successful in your application, you will need:

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation and preparedness to go the extra mile.
  • Experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling field service mechanical technicians (or similar).
  • Technical knowledge of earthmoving equipment would be advantageous
  • Sound administration and database management experience
  • Safety Conscious - A strong, developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety

The successful candidate will be someone who can work well under pressure and enjoys the challenges of working in a busy department. Your ability to multitask and your attention to detail will be essential.
