Job Responsibilities

Product Definition and Industry Expertise
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and use-cases in the Industrial IoT and Manufacturing domain
o Defining the product development scope based on 1) deep understanding of use cases in Manufacturing 2) digital technology trend, 3) demands gathered through customer engagements.
- Work with field teams to recognize product requirements vs. features that should be delivered by services
- Monitoring development progresses to ensure if engineering efforts is aligned with the product roadmap
- Document use cases, requirements and features
- Exercise judgement to prioritize effectively
o Managing and prioritizing the development backlog to materialize features on the product roadmap
- Research and understand the competitive landscape to create a differentiated roadmap
- Create compelling value proposition based on customer/user interaction and market research
- Evaluating outcome of the development and demonstrating it to all the stakeholders
- Leading product release cycles with product operation team with deep knowledge on software product business

Product Architecture
- Understanding of product architecture and technologies required to engineer the product
o Developing technology and architecture roadmap with Architect and prioritize non-functional development tasks relating to the roadmap
o Defining non-functional requirements that cover use cases required in the Manufacturing use cases
o Reflecting technology trend on the technology and architecture roadmap to make the product technologically competitive
- Help scope and size the complexity of the features and assisting engineering in design
o Advising technology implementations for features defined in the roadmap
- Defining upgrade path from older versions of the product to the latest

Sales and Delivery Support
- Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations for internal and external audiences
- Support sales with competitive, strategic analysis, and closing of critical deals
- Deliver roadmap presentations
- Be an expert in your product
- Develop training materials and conduct training programs for the solution architect and delivery team

Team and Process
- Identify opportunities for process and team improvement
- Develop processes and infrastructure to help the team work more effectively (Product Architect/Owner for planning, Support Owner for support operation)
- Organize the team for effective role clarity and goals while enabling them to be successful
- Communicate with precision and clarity
- Take a feature from ideation through launch and rollout including interactions with marketing, sales, and field enablement

Candidate Requirements (Must-Have)
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience/aptitude
- Experience with mfg domain areas like SCM, Production, Quality, Safety, Equipment Maintenance
- 5 or more years of demonstrated success in product management
- Experience managing a team of PMs
- Experience with IoT technologies including Data Historians and different OT protocols (e.g. OPC, Modbus, etc.)
- Comfort level with enterprise software tech such as web and application servers, enterprise security, clustering and virtualization, and tools for managing agile software delivery
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Emotional and social intelligence
- Strong work ethic and business acumen
- Willingness to work with customers all over the world

- 8-10 years of work experience in enterprise software industry or IIoT
- Experience working with teams located globally.
- MBA or demonstrated interest/aptitude for corporate and product strategy
- Willingness to travel (20% - 30%) and work odd hours (occasionally)
