The Role:

Hitachi Vantara is looking for a strong marketing all rounder who can help drive demand across the breadth of the Hitachi Vantara solutions in EMEA. As a EMEA Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for leading the regional planning, development, execution and analysis of global and local integrated demand gen campaigns, targeting enterprise and commercial business segments. Working closely with key stakeholders across sales and marketing, you will be part of a collaborative, creative, and metrics-based team whose goal is to increase the performance of demand generation campaigns and help drive revenue for the EMEA theatre.

We are looking for a strong motivated Field Marketer Specialist who is experienced at leading, building and driving a regional demand generation strategy that is consistent across a diverse set of markets.

What You'll Be Doing

Hitachi Vantara is looking for a marketer to fill the role of Marketing Specialist within our EMEA Field Marketing Demand Center. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for helping to execute effective marketing programs, assisting with campaign development, analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign and developing our lead generation programs. This candidate will collaborate and work alongside our go-to-market campaign leaders within the EMEA region but also within our global campaigns team to execute programs that fit within the priorities of our EMEA sales teams. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and assisting with the launch of campaigns within our regions and helping to drive revenue growth for our EMEA sales teams.

What You Bring to the Team
  • Develop marketing strategies for projects, including multi-channel integrated programs
  • Ability to work closely with global campaigns teams, program leaders, and sales teams for development and implementation of programs in multiple regions.
  • Ability to take direction to help build and launch lead generation programs
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and report on campaign efficiency, performance and results
  • Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines
  • Develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results and project recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-channel marketing colleagues to build integrated programs that complement campaigns and overall objectives to drive sales revenue and generate overall demand
  • Work with sales on lead follow up from your campaigns
  • Deliver Marketing Programs comprising of direct mail, email, advertising, webinars, seminars and tradeshows - that deliver on pre-defined awareness / consideration goals and revenue objectives of the Geo.
  • Document programs and conduct post analysis and evaluation on all programs

Primary Skills Qualifications:
  • BA or BS equivalent degree qualification in Marketing, Communication or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience as a Regional Marketing Manager
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing tactics and best practices
  • Experience with organizing local and regional events
  • Solid understanding of the marketing funnel
  • Outstanding communicator, creative thinker and good presentation skills
  • Proficient in marketing automation and analytics features
  • Experience with marketing tools and software and experience working withing a sales CRM platform like SalesForce
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Team player with ability to take direction from team mates but also work independently
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to be accountable for projects from conception to implementation, including budget.
  • Previous experience in the Enterprise IT industry or Telecom space highly preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues remotely in multiple time zones
  • Additional language skills seen as a benefit.

Language: Primarily English but experience speaking Spanish, French, German or Italian is a plus.
