What You Will Be Doing

This position will be an overlay Lumada Software Sales position that coordinates and works closely with Hitachi Vantara's Platinum accounts organizations to achieve success and lead interactions with our existing and new customers.
This is a hunter/coaching position where you will initiate and support pursuits alongside the Platinum Account Managers. The job represents a balanced customer relationship management effort involving sales and account management skills, product knowledge/problem-solving/solution skills, and direction of all other and necessary Lumada specialized resources assigned to the Platinum Account.

Understand customers business and technical challenges, then work with the AE and SE to architect a Lumada SW Solution geared towards solving business pain points and helping them to achieve their goals.
• Staying informed on improvements, product features, and enhancements to help AE adoption and accelerate sales pipeline growth and sales quota achievement.
• Identify adoption blockers and inhibitors and be both of sales and customer when articulating objections and roadblocks to product development, marketing and executive leadership team.
• Work with product stakeholders, RVPs, Marketing, AE's and SE's teams to execute on plans to remove objections, inhibitors and roadblocks.
• Stay current on and identify industry trends and new solutions in the broader technical community that are applicable to Lumada (Azure, AWS, Google, Snowflake, MongoDB, DataBricks).
• Stay current on the competitive landscape.
• Salesforce updates with the AE to ensure that opportunities are in the correct sales stage and forecasted accurately.

What You Bring To The Team
  • 15+ years of sales experience in Enterprise SW Sales
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate business value and outcomes from solutions
    • Ability to articulate and evangelize the value of IoT and Data Management solutions.
    • Experience with new product introductions.
    • Strong leadership and Customer Relationship skills.
    Contract negotiation and deal forecasting experience
