Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d)

In this position, you take ownership of the Key Account for Stellantis, managing both current business and driving initiatives to develop new business and profitably grow the account.  This role requires excellent communications and interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders and the competence of cross-functional business management.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • You and your team are the point of contact for customers and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries as well as build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Interface with related OEM key contacts, Purchasing / Project Team / Supplier-Management
  • Own, coordinate and manage sales budgets for the respective account and main business activities
  • Reply to RFI/RFQ on time, coordinate internal quotation process and preparation including technical review, deviations tracking and price negotiations.
  • Analyse commercials and create proposals (incl. benchmark) to pursue key customer programs; support commercial aspects of product development and design changes
  • Support customer visits to manufacturing sites and sales offices globally
  • Track and update customer contracts
  • Identify growth opportunities and prepare the respective sales/management reports
  • Regular global interface with colleagues especially in Japan, USA and EU to understand regional influences on global business opportunities and contribute towards generating such business based on global network of key business information

Profile and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Engineering, etc.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Sales in Automotive Supplier Industry with proven track record of managing current business and developing new business
  • Experience in working with customers FCA and or PSA is seen as a significant advantage
  • Must command both English and Italian orally and in written form. German, French and / or Japanese language skills would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good Leadership skills and first experience in cross-functional team lead
  • Willingness and interest for international travel & teamwork
