NOTICE:  Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. (“HTA”) requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  All new hires will be required to provide proof of their vaccination status prior to their start date and will need to receive the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine on or before January 4, 2022, or no later than two weeks prior to their start date with HTA, unless they request and receive a medical or religious accommodation.


  • Input confidential data into the following HR related systems:
    • Background check vendor system(s)
    • Workday HRIS system
    • Relocation vendor system (Cartus)
    • Internal company tracking spreadsheets as needed
  • Deliver consistent, high quality new hire orientations using established content
  • Maintain and edit company organization charts (in PowerPoint) with a high degree of confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Working with HR Generalist staff, assist with maintenance and updating of company job descriptions
  • Provide administrative support to visa (US and non-US) processes, including producing pay statements using ADP upon request
  • Code HR related invoices
  • Administer and approve business card ordering process
  • Run and distribute monthly HR reports
  • Data entry – fit testing and eye exam
  • Provide administrative support regarding COVID-19 policies and processes, such as form preparation and data entry/maintenance
  • Provide support to the EHS department as needed


  • Associate of Arts degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or similar area preferred


  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a human resources department, preferably in an administrative and/or support capacity.


  • Previous experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Workday preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with U.S. employment laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once successfully
