Role – Accountabilities

  • Report to and support the HRH Senior Construction Manager:
  • Manage and co-ordinate HRH Project Construction Team for the installation of system technologies within in the constraints of  schedule, scope, cost, quality, safety and environmental requirements
  • Assist Construction manager in site coordination meetings with various project entities, Client/Authorities/Partners/Contractors/Subcontractors.
  • Co-ordinate and manage supervise all site activities including civil and technological works in accordance with project delivery plan
  • Co-operate with the Project team, in order to define the planning and the interface milestone with other parties (e.g. sub-contractors)
  • Report on progress and status of work, forecasting risks and opportunities and reporting any deviations of scope, schedule, cost or quality
  • Ensure optimization and update of the resources (internal & external/subcontractors) on the project, having as baseline the Project budget
  • Ensure that the rules foreseen by the HSE Management plan are implemented on site by the construction supervisory team
  • Provide and share with the Functional manager the evaluation of resources performance
  • Co-operate with the Supply Planning in order to define the Logistic plan, consistent to the Project Plan
  • Comply with policies and procedures as they relate to telecommunications specifications and standards throughout the rail industry in the USA.
  • Support Technology supervisors with the day-to-day field operations of Subcontractors, providing necessary technical guidance and leadership.
  • Oversees, Technology supervisors in monitoring contractual field work for quality of installation and adherence to project, client, and industry, local and federal specifications
  • Issue and manage punch list and corrective action directives issued to the sub-contractor
  • Ensure Company tracking methods and systems are implemented to measure productivity levels, coordinate regular review with CM team of potential change events and progress reports.
  • Track and verify all works beyond the contract scope of sub-contractor
  • Responsible for ensuring onsite compliance with HSE management policies and procedures, assist in the investigation of incidents and claims, and communicate lessons learned to team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle stressful situations with good judgment, tact and diplomacy in reference to concerns.
  • Interfaces with various internal and external stakeholders on assigned project coordination’s. Communicate with client group and team members both written and verbally.
  • Maintains project notes, which include daily activity job completion log, verifies subcontractors installation reports on work completed

Role – Knowledge/Skills Required

  • 6 Years of relevant Construction/Project Management Experience
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Experience in Cost Commitment Management
  • Knowledge of Construction Design-Build Projects
  • Knowledge of MS Suite tools
  • Understanding of Construction Project management planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to effectively lead/present and respond to questions from groups; Client representatives/Executive Management/Employees/Sub-contractors and third parties.

Desired - Additional Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated experience in construction management of rail transit systems and/or large infrastructure builds in urban environments
  • Understanding of Honolulu City and County, State of Hawaii and Federal construction/building specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Projects
  • Experience with Procore Construction Management tool


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management Preferred
