The Opportunity

HCA's Melbourne branch has an exciting opportunities for experienced and motivated sales professionals to join the team in the position of a Customer Support Representatives covering the Eastern and Western Region working out of our Somerton Branch. The role will have you interacting with our Customers by understanding their Needs, and offering a suite of Solutions to improve their fleet running costs, improve productivity and extend the service life of their equipment.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Handling the important link between customers and the company to ensure Hitachi's high level of service delivery is maintained at all times
  • Promoting and generating service sales streams
  • Promote national and local customer support programs and initiatives
  • Undertake customer machine inspections with a high attention to detail.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities/prospects.
  • Efficiently liaise with current and potential customers for the purpose of delivering tangible benefits.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have reasonably strong mechanical and technical experience for Construction Equipment.
  • Have strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated sound experience in identifying marketing opportunities.
  • Have a genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Be highly motivated and ambitious to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic and Analytical capability to assess value and customer needs
  • Ability to follow processes and use various systems including CRM
  • Confident, courteous and professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously and a current driver's license
