About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Specialist in our busy Nelson Branch. Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service, in this role you will be:

• Interpreting and processing customer requests
• Providing service to internal customers for parts
• Picking and packing parts and components
• Sourcing parts from other sources as required
• Utilising your highly developed communication skills
• Exercising your strong computer skills, data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Highly organised in your approach to your work

You will also be hard working, customer focused and cool under pressure, allowing you to prioritise tasks in a busy workplace. Knowledge and/or experience with commercial vehicles or heavy equipment is an advantage, and a current drivers license is necessary.

You will have:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven organisational and planning skills
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written
• The ability to positively engage with and influence all parts of the business
• High level of computer literacy
• The ability to perform under pressure and to prioritise and multitask in a time driven environment
• Demonstrated problem solving, logistics and/or service experience.
