Brake Business Unit (2nd world supplier of braking systems, worldwide presence with operations in Europe, Asia, South Africa, North and South America), is recruiting for its Engineering Center in Drancy (disc brakes , drum brakes, electromechanical parking brakes and rotors for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and two-wheelers, EMB electromechanical brakes for Drive-By-Wire).
Position based in Drancy (93).
Within an international organization, and directly attached to the Brake BU Global Safety Engineering Manager, your main mission is to support the deployment of Safety Engineering activities on both Platforms Projects, and Applicative Projects for World-Wide customers. The perimeter covers three Product Lines: APB (Automatic Parking Brake)(ASIL B(D), E-Actuation (ASILD), and Smart Brake (ElectroMechanical Brake)(ASIL D).
The Brake BU Safety organization is strongly growing, and the position will be evolving in the short term towards a leadership position to further support the Global Safety Engineering Manager.
Support Customer Project development by deploying ISO26262 in the project lifecycle :
Participate to the Platform Project development :
Deploy internal safety assessment.
• Master's degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, system engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience including 5 years in a similar position (automotive market recommended).
Technical skills and languages:
• In-depth competence and practice in Safety Engineering based on ISO26262 standard.
• Knowledge of Requirements Management, Testing and Validation.
• Knowledge of the A-SPICE repository and system development processes.
• Fluent level of English
