Parts Specialist - Customer Support

The Role

With strong growth Nationally in our parts departments, our Lower Hutt team has a new and exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated individuals to join the customer service team in the position of Parts Specialist.

Based at our National Head office, the position will see you focus on the coordination and supply of quality parts to our much-loved customer base whilst also liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate high level service delivery.

This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys varied work as you will be providing outstanding online and phone customer service from an operational standpoint. In this position, you will be well supported to provide a range of OEM level services ranging from sourcing parts, invoicing and customer query management through to warranty support and stock coordination.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience & Skill set - Demonstrated knowledge and previous experience in a Parts environment
• Industry Knowledge: A developed mechanical understanding of the Construction and Mining field would be highly regarded but is not essential.
• Confident computer literacy skills
• Safety Conscious - A strong, developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety.
• Analytical thinking - Ability to navigate any issues in supply and demand whilst identifying continuous improvement and up selling opportunities.
• Autonomous productivity - A self-driven Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
