What You Will Be DoingProvide L2 SAN/NAS Administration support in a large, enterprise client environment.
What You Will Bring To The TeamCurrently seeking a Spanish Speaking NAS/SAN L2 Administrator with 6+ years of IT experience, with the last 5 years focused on NAS / SAN Administration. Must have experience in SAN/NAS L2/L3 Support for EMC/Hitachi Storage devices.
Experience working in large, enterprise environments is a must.
Required Skills• 5+ years of IT experience
• Must have at least 3-5 years of solid NAS Administration experience in enterprise environments with greater than 20+ PB's of NAS
• Must be Spanish speaking to be able to support the Mexico Region
• Proficient with SAN/NAS Storage Technologies: EMC/Hitachi/NetApp (PMAX, VMAX, Unity, NetApp, VNX, XtremIO)
• Basic Unix skill - MUST
• SYMCLI experience - MUST
• Basic UNIX SCRIPTING - MUST
• Proficient in troubleshooting SAN/NAS issues: Connectivity, Performance, Provisioning, EMC Products, Replication
• Very good communication skills (Spanish a MUST): Written, Oral, Phone, Documentation
• The Level 2 Operations functions:
o Primary POC for storage service and support
o 24x7x365 Support
o COB/DR exercise
o Attendance on technical bridges with technology teams to drive resolution of incidents.
o Resolving incident tickets
o Performing Change Requests and Tasks
o Environmental oversight and root cause analysis for stability and reliability
o Maintain operational support documentation
o Perform scheduled housekeeping activities
o Make on-going improvements to event monitoring in agreement with level 3 teams.
o Understand and articulates the impact and importance of storage services in terms of business value and impact during technical and non-technical reviews to customers.
o Displays a sense of urgency around critical issues
o Internal/Vendor escalation

• Proficient with day-to-day administration: Implementation, Configuration, Storage Allocation, Configuring CIFs/NFS
• Certifications Preferred: NCDA and/or any other NetApp Certifications, EMC Proven Professional and/or any other EMC Certifications, ITIL Certifications
