EXPECTED PAY RANGE:           $97,813 - $134,493


This pay range is for the position’s base pay only.  This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances.  Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist customer's operation of CD-SEM at customer site. Create prototype which shows the solution of the issue faced by the customer. Write documents showing design, workflow, and support software development teams in Japan. Provide technical support and maintenance of HTA software systems deployed at customer sites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist and help customer in understanding specific CD-SEM functions as required
  • Create prototype solutions related of new features/enhancements
  • Working with peer teams on researching and resolving complex software and system problems
  • Analyze and optimize different methodologies to improve output of our software systems
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance teams for optimal system performance
  • Support products from the early development and prototyping phases through to production
  • Developing functional specifications per customer requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, LICENSES, and/or CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Educational specialization in image processing preferred

EXPERIENCE and TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have 4-5 years of actual work experience with programming languages such as C / C++, Python
  • Must have experience working on Linux based systems
  • Travel to Naka factory in Japan for product review meetings.
  • Travel to customer locations as needed
  • Experience with open-source framework/libraries/concepts
  • This position requires international and domestic travel for business purposes – up to 30%

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to investigate and apply new technologies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate challenging or technical concepts
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Self-sufficient, self-reliant, and self-disciplined, but also able to operate effectively as part of a tea
  • Knowledge of Japanese language desirable but not mandatory
