Continuous Improvement and NPI Engineer (m/f/d)
 

In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support and be a positive role to effectively drive and support continuous improvement across the plant.

You are mainly responsible for:

  • To co-ordinate and support improvement projects utilising standardised Lean Six Sigma tools and methods to improve plant and process performance across all areas to achieve results, including periodical reporting of adherence and progress to all levels of the business
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers
  • Represent the manufacturing department at customer and product development liaison meetings and ensuring effective implementation of design practices to meet customer needs.
  • Take responsibility for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production on assigned line
  • Monitor activities conducted by Production Engineers and ensure they comply with internal standards

 Your Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Automation field or similar qualification
  • Excellent computer literacy. Excel, Word and Microsoft Project
  • Six Sigma qualified or actively working towards professional certification
  • Experience in Electronics/Surface Mount Line production would be a distinct advantage but not essential
  • Experience of equipment troubleshooting and RCA
  • Significant experience in Electronics and/or fast paced manufacturing would be preferred
  • Experience of data analysis and MES would be an advantage
