General IT Infrastructure Systems Administration Experienced Professional

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated General IT Infrastructure Systems Administration Experienced Professional to work on our RIYADH Project.  This position will require someone who’s on their toes: a doer who’s looking to grow long-term within our business of railway and mass transit signalling system.  

The position is based in RIYADH, starting as soon as possible.

Mission:

Deployment and maintenance of value adding IT infrastructure and workplace solutions in support to the company business needs.

Accountabilities

• Skills primarily in Networking, WAN/LAN, Data Center, IP Telephony, VM environments and back-up systems.
• Ensure the fulfilment of Service Requests, Service Incidents and Service Problems in accordance to the agreed KPI’s
• Contribute to the compliance with IMS including all IT security Requirements
• Participate in the implementation of IT Projects as per agreed budget, time and quality
• Participate in the delivery of IT Services in compliance with the set  KPIs, in one or more of the areas below:
• Facility Management
• Datacenter Management
• WAN & LAN
• Backup & Recovery Management
• Monitoring of Infrastructure Availability & Performance
• Database Management
• Active Directory
• File, Print services management
• Logical Access : VPN, SSL, Reverse Proxy
• Messaging & Communication Infrastructure
• Virtualization and Mobile computing

Required Skills/ Knowledge

• From 3 up to 5 years of working experience -
• Project management (IT)      
• Business Processes
• Corporate policies compliance       
• IT Infrastructure and Services technical skills

Education / Qualifications

University Degree (IT, Engineering or other technical degree) or Equivalent Technical background

Languages

Good English proficiency
