Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Logistics and Repair Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa - Italy.

Mission:  Execution of logistic and repairing process (on local/ regional project) in accordance with company procedure, quality standard and contractual SLAs

Accountabilities

  • Ensure the execution of the intervention starting, performing and closing of logistics and spares activities during warranty and after sales period (maintenance contracts) according to specified
  • Service Level Agreement
  • Ensure the definition and optimization of the spare parts stock to achieve contractual repair and replenishment time requirements during the warranty and after sales phases
  • Ensure the technical and logistic interface with the factory for the repairing process
  • Ensure execution and monitoring of repairing contracts with suppliers
  • Ensure the collection and aggregation failure data on the equipment during warranty and after sales phases
  • Ensure the issuing of repair Reporting activities

Required Skills/ Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree/High school in technical area or Equivalent
  • Technical background
  • From 3 up to 5 years Logistic experience could be a plus;
  • Budgeting & cost controlling
  • Knowledge of ERP (i.e. SAP), CRM (i.e. MAXIMO) and Configuration Management tools
  • Logistic and warehouse management
  • Planning
  • Statistical analysis and “data management”
