Hitachi Europe’s CEE regional HQ is based in Warsaw and is an important supplier to the banking sector, providing, among other enterprise and midrange class storage systems, paperless systems, ID management solutions (IAM), cybersecurity consulting or regulatory solutions (RegTech). Hitachi Europe is going to expand their business in area of mobility and energy sectors. Hitachi Europe is looking for a candidate for following position:

Market Analyst

Scope                                                                                           

This position will be responsible for market and competition analysis and research, as well as preparation of reports for the CEE Region and market research reports.

Responsibilities:

• Following economic and political situation in the region based on public information/press and sharing it across the organization,

• Perform competition analysis,

• Support in development of solution strategy and product positioning on the market,

• Perform analysis of information in the area of politics, technology and economic situation

• Perform analysis of industry information: railway, energy, digital and social innovations in the CEE region

• Perform other business research as required by Poland Team members or Hitachi Group companies

• Product positioning

• Cooperate with Sales, Projects and Business Development divisions on daily basis,

• Preparing dedicated reports (for Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Austria and Baltics) based on the input collected from team members and own market research/news,

• Preparing formal documents and marketing materials both in English and Polish

• Organization of customers/partners/guests

• Cooperate with Government Relations and Sustainability Office

Qualifications:

• Perfect written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2). Other regional languages (e.g. Czech, Slovak, German) or Japanese would be an additional value,

• Ability of analytical thinking and selecting relevant information,

• Analytical skills allowing for the correct assessment of industry data and information

• Knowledge of the basic micro and macroeconomic definitions

• Interpersonal skills allowing to conduct conversations with officials and higher authorities of state and public organizations

• Min. 2 years of work experience (assistant, analyst, marketing or administration position)

• Very good communication skills

• University education

• Experience in organizing business events,

• Proactivity, creativity and independence,

• Ability to multitask,

• Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word).
