Industrial Engineer

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Perform time studies as needed to support labor standards and develop standard data
  • Develop and maintain routing and process documentation
  • Evaluate process and equipment capabilities and capacities and provide support and data for new equipment or process improvements
  • Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material and equipment
  • Evaluate and analyze engineering prints to develop quotes based on established guidelines

Qualifications for position include:

  • Preferred degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Word/Power Point/Excel with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communications
  • Serve as a resource for production while pursuing opportunities to eliminate waste
  • Energetic, hands-on, able to work on a variety of tasks with minimal supervision and willing to take on additional responsibilities
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with production employees, peers and manufacturing management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as necessary to remote Waupaca Foundry facilities
