Meet our Team

We represent Hitachi Vantara to our customers globally for providing IOT & related transformation services. As a newly created practice, we are the people who reimagine the transformative potential within and beyond the Generation and T&D operations of our E&U customers including areas like Energy Trading. From embedded sensors PMUs, Reclosers, Smart Meters etc to operational technology systems like DCS , PLC/ SCADA, Historians, EMS, DRMS, ADMS and IIoT platforms. From remote command centers to trading desks, we will establish listening posts across our customer base to understand their problems and deliver solutions. Our customers span across the customer base of Hitachi group to our Front BUs. Our customer service will be best demonstrated through this role, where customer success would be our preeminent motto.

Our ambitions in IoT Practice is to be the best IoT Services Provider in world which has a top of the mind recall for customers, analysts and advisors alike. To attain this ambition, we wish to leverage the power of our Group's brand and positioning by combining forces with our Front BUs. This means that we would have to engage our Front BUs i.e. Rail, Energy, Astemo ( Automotive Tier 1), IDBU and rest in creation of strategic initiatives which can be "sell-to" but usually would be "sell-with".

What you'll be doing -Not exhaustive
  • Work as business analyst in E/CTRM domain
  • Perform requirements gathering / elicitation with business & IT client stakeholders
  • Engage in business workshops with customers for requirements scoping & elaboration
  • Ability to do business process mapping and create functional specifications
  • Identify & define epics themes and user stories for project scoping
  • Elaborate user stories as part of software development projects in agile model
  • Create business test cases and perform functional testing in domain intensive projects
  • Work with technical team and subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support Presales team/ Consulting team in the development of PoC's.
  • Do market analysis and create business case for specific solutions
  • Contribute to innovation ideas and hackathons
  • Create domain training content & impart domain training to technical team during project onbarding
  • Publish thought leadership papers for GTMs


What you bring to the team
  • Client engagement & project execution skills of a business analyst
  • Strong communication ( written & oral) and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent presentation and workshop management skills
  • Knowledge of processes and tools for requirement gathering/ use case elaboration
  • Knowledge of Trading domain and functions (particularly around Energy Transition)
  • Familiarity with Trading critical systems & applications landscape
  • Experience in the role for project execution within Trading domain
  • Very good analytical and problem solving skills to unearth and solve issues
  • Thought leadership & innovation to generate new ideas
