The Role
The North America Sales Director will be responsible for leading Hitachi Vantara Lumada campaigns to develop a sustainable business within the North American territory and will report to the VP Sales.
The leader we're seeking will excel at driving repeatable pipeline, building world-class teams and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and Channel teams to solve new Go-To-Market challenges.

Responsibilities
• Drive growth and exceed the sales plan through a balanced allocation of resources and sales strategy
• Contribute and drive revenue delivery on target in accordance with committed annual plan
• Develop and execute sales strategy and appropriate sales coverage
• Deliver accurate yearly and quarterly forecasts in line with business objectives
• Lead business reviews with internal teams
• Foster and facilitate collaboration between Hitachi Vantara and client ecosystem to ensure sales success and customer satisfaction
• Initiate and lead customer executive meetings to promote Hitachi Vantara vision and demonstrate commitment to customer success
• Perform end-to-end sales engagements compliant with internal, government and local policies
• Identify key customer challenges and drivers to transformation
• Act as a mentor, support customer and value chain enterprise business transformation

Qualifications
• Experience selling Data Integration, Analytics, Internet of Things, Big Data, and Digital Transformation solutions.
• 5+ years as individual contributor with proven sales success
• 5+ years leading direct sales teams resulting in successful quota attainment
• Relationships and experience selling through Channel Partners
• Work under minimal supervision on complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
• Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
