Role Overview

We currently require a Product Business Analyst to work as part of the Social Innovation team. You will support the Product team as they create the product roadmap and define the strategic vision for our products and solutions. You will assist in defining, delivering and analysing the results of the innovation activities on products, solutions and services.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design user journey maps. Through collaboration with the client, drive the customer journey mapping both for the “now” state of the maintenance process and the proposed future process.

  • Perform user story mapping and support the management of a Product Backlog that delivers the best customer journeys.

  • Plan and execute co-creation workshops.  Collaborate with the Product Owner and the UI/UX Designer to prepare workshops materials.  Document the outcome (ideas and feedback) and play it back to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with the UI/UX Designer and provide assistance throughout the entire product design process.

  • Design, establish and manage a user feedback loop.  Build / create a community of users and a forum to get regular feedback to help shape a Product that delights users and enables real business value.

  • Support in the design of the service blueprint to provide a complete picture of how the service and related experience is delivered to customer.

  • Support the design and delivery of innovation trials and pilots with customers.

  • Engage with key stakeholders at project partner organisations to ensure successful delivery of the trials, confirm and validate findings.

  • Support the development and evaluation of new propositions and business models for the UK and EMEA markets by providing a point of view on market trends as well as a balanced qualitative and quantitative analysis.

  • Author high-quality presentations and reports, including formal project deliverables which will be publicly available.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • A numerate or business-related degree

  • Ideally experience in a business analysis role

  • Experience in the mobility or transport industry would be a plus

  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Power Point, Word)

  • Advanced command of Excel

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery team

  • Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams of engineering, design, marketing, analytics and research to build amazing products

  • A pragmatic, can-do and analytical approach to problem-solving

  • Ability and willingness to get up to speed with and apply other Business Intelligence (BI) and data analysis packages

  • Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Passionate about working in social innovation, and in particular environmental sustainability
