Test & Commissioning engineer

Hitachi Rail is now looking for Test and Commissioning engineer to strengthen their engineering organization within the railway business.

The position is based in Solna (Stockholm) which is the Hitachi Rail headquarters in Sweden.

As a Test and Commissioning engineer you will develop test specifications, perform testing and produce respective reports, coordinate test activities, interact with project's stakeholders and customers.

Your position requires working on site, lab and office and fluent Swedish language.

In your role as Test and Commissioning engineer you will :

• Ensure the specification, organization and executing of tests on site

• Undertake site survey duties within the scope of Test and Commissioning within specific projects

• Ensure that the delivered documentation is available and follows the company and project guidelines

• Ensure the reporting of noncompliance coming from test and commissioning activities

• Ensure the implementation of HSE plans on site

• Undertake test and commissioning Work Package Management duties within the specific project. Such duties may include planning activities, providing status report to management; providing status to project planner and project controller, interact with project's stakeholders

In your role you will get the chance to work with complex system, to be part of multinational team and organization,  to learn and study railway signaling technology especially for ERTMS wayside, to learn and study Hitachi’s wayside system technical solution for ERTMS implementation in Sweden.

Qualifications and key skills:

• Degree in engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical or civil engineering
