The Opportunity

HCA has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Perth based CSG Product Support team to support our regional branch operations and mining customers. This permanent role will challenge you to apply innovative solutions across our range of mining products and services while building a long-term career in a global company. As a Product Support Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for asset integrity and reliability engineering activities for the Hitachi mining equipment range of products.

Main responsibilities;

• Assess equipment reliability and component life characteristics by evaluating machine data and statistical analysis of fault trends
• Provide equipment reliability summaries and periodic reporting of current issues across various fleets and operations
• Execute defect elimination and undertake reliability improvements
• Develop & drive product improvement opportunities
• Provide high level technical support to our teams and customers
• Effectively communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

You will have:

• High level of attention to detail and the ability to apply critical thinking, analysis and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Proven technical understanding of key disciplines, such as mechanical/electrical systems; schematics, drawings & manual interpretation
• Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
• Proven experience in a Technical or Product Support role
• Mining industry experience
• Relevant engineering tertiary qualification
• Current driver's license
