About The Opportunity
We have opened up an exciting opportunity for a WHS Advisor to support our busy and successful Brisbane sites. Reporting to the Regional General Manager and working closely with our National WHS Manager, you will monitor and maintain HCA's work health and safety management system in line with current legislation, ensuring we maintain and continue to improve our workplace safety culture.
This role will work with branch and field operations to provide guidance and support the implementation of effective risk management processes. The successful candidate will support operations in collaboration with customer safety initiatives and investigations. You will identify WHS competency requirements and coordinate training sessions and programs for management and staff. We are looking for a WHS professional to manage accident/ incident investigations, workers compensation claims and return to work plans to ensure efficiency within our business and with Hitachi's safety commitment. An important component of the role will be to identify safety improvements, drive change, encourage employee commitment and enhance the business cultural safety journey.
