The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our construction equipment team based in Cavan - Adelaide. In this role you will build on your existing mechanical skills, responsible for providing general workshop assistance to our HD fitters and Mechanics.

This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Other responsibilities include:

• Supporting the service technicians in the workshop
• Checking and storage of components and consumables delivered to the assembly facility
• Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final quality assurance inspections
• Working in a safe and tidy manner - safety takes priority over everything else

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have mechanical experience and/or aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Current Drivers Licence and Forklift Licence
• Highly desirable to have additional licenses such as rigging/dogging, working at heights
