Description

As a Controls Project Engineer, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry.  This role will enable you to facilitate projects while integrating some of the most state of the art robotics & technology available.  The innovative solutions we work on offer diverse experiences that will strengthen your skills and challenge your abilities. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Implement and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment. 
  • Coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with the appropriate build and electrical teams. 
  • Seek and initiate innovative technology-related improvements to drive value. 
  • Apply industry specific knowledge and experience to resolve engineering problems. 
  • Design controls equipment to meet customer requirements. 
  • Manage several on-going projects concurrently. 
  • Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques. 
  • Assist with the successful management of assigned projects as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field OR Associates degree with 2+ years of related experience 
  • 5+ years of related experience   

Skills You’ll Have:  

  • Knowledge to lead and direct activities of others. 
  • Extensive experience with automation products, services, and the industry. 
  • Utilize controls and automation experience to solve problems and provide engineering solutions. 

Other Details:  

  • Travel up to 25% to customer sites & other JR locations 
  • Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers or other organizations. 
  • Lead teams and influence project direction and progress.  
  • Serve as a technical expert and mentor developing engineers.
