About the Opportunity

With strong growth in our parts divisions, our Gunnedah branch has an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join the Parts Intepreter. In this role, you'll enjoy promoting and generating parts and service sales streams with the intention of exceeding set sales targets and striving for growth. You will partner with valued customers within the region where you'll showcase your high capability and attention to detail to interpret their parts and service needs.

Reporting to the Parts Coordinator your responsibilities will involve:

• Safety Commitment - Proactive awareness and total assurance of Hitachi's number one priority - always exercising a high standard of precaution and duty of care to yourself and for others around you.
• Providing service to external and internal customers for Parts
• Interpreting and supplying parts to meet customer's requests
• Autonomous productivity - Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver quality outcomes
• Personable and Professional Communication Skills - above all else, your personality and charismatic character will be what sets you apart from the rest when dealing with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer success stories

While an understanding of construction/mining equipment would be a distinct advantage, to be successful you will need:

• Previous experience in a Parts environment
• A developed mechanical understanding
• High level of computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen eye for detail
