The ideal candidate must have or be actively seeking to achieve Public Cloud Certifications with Azure, GCP, AWS or OpenShift and would already have some experience in these technologies.

What You Will Be Doing

You're a data engineering professional who is personable, intelligent, analytical and solution driven. You are not afraid of getting your hands dirty and making independent decisions when the situation demands.
  • A proven Data Engineer with a deep understanding of data structures and related programming languages.
  • Highly proficient at data manipulation using SQL and Python.
  • Experienced with structured data tools (e.g., SQL), & unstructured data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL)
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g. Grafana, Kibana, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, e.g., Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, C++, C.
  • Demonstrable experience with translating unstructured, complex business problems into practical, powerful data solutions.
  • A passion for keeping up with the latest trends in data science and data engineering.
  • Curious mind, self-starter and endlessly keen to learn and develop themselves professionally.
  • Provide programming and best practice consultation directly to our clients and partners for the integration of our Enterprise Data Automation products and services with large, complex datasets.
  • Drive the partnership with other teams to understand client requirements, communicate product improvements, and assist with all client development needs.
  • Adopt and embrace our cultural and innovative best practices and solutions in order to quickly and accurately identify and address highly technical problems.
  • Be solution focused, able to perform detailed and meaningful diagnostic work and troubleshooting quickly and accurately, developing additional tools where you see a need internally or for our clients.
  • Work closely with technical and data operations teams at client companies to understand their requirements and help them to build out solutions using our Data Automation Technologies.
  • Actively identify potential areas of improvement or gaps in internal tools & monitoring systems and propose solutions.
  • Apply good interpersonal and presentation skills to working in a fast-paced environment across multinational teams
  • Collaborate with peers, sales, technical account managers and service delivery teams to drive critical client on-boarding initiatives, technology partnerships and highly technical projects.
  • Proactively identify ideas to help drive stronger product performance and implement those ideas from start to finish.
  • Provide technical development guidance, leadership, and structure to Enterprise Data clients.
  • Cultivate deep technical partnerships with key members of the client development community.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships with clients, engineering, and product development teams to resolve issues or build out enhancements.
  • Administer training to clients for coding to our API during the pre-sale, implementation, and adoption phases of an engagement.
  • Support the developer community around our data delivery mechanisms.
  • Provide timely and informative feedback to the Enterprise Data Automation Product teams.
  • Take ownership of complex questions and issues reported by clients as a second tier of technical support via phone calls, ticket systems, email, and in person.

What You Will Bring To The Team
  • Required BA or BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) field.
  • Required highly proficient at data manipulation using SQL.
  • Required experienced with structured data tools (e.g., SQL), & unstructured data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL)
  • Required experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Required familiarity with visualization tools (e.g. Grafana, Kibana, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, e.g. Go, Shell Script, Python, Java, Kotlin, and/or C.
  • Strong client facing experience, be presentable & able to articulate complex technical concepts to all skill levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple technical streams / lead client engagements whilst collaborating across different teams.
