What you'll be doing:

• Develop scalable, cloud-based data pipelines to support large data volumes and complexity
• Build self-service business intelligence & reporting capabilities using technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks (Spark)

What you bring to the team:

• Experience handling large volume data as well as both structured/unstructured data of various quality
• Experience working with Hadoop or Spark ecosystems
• Data integration services such as Azure Data Factory or Google Data Flow
• Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Python, Java or Scala
• Previous experience working with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps
• Experience with at least one data cloud service provider, Azure (Preferred), AWS or Google are valuable
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Problem solving and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment

Very valuable:

• Specific experience working with Databricks and/or Snowflake
• Experience with Spark SQL, Sqoop, Oozie and Hive / Impala
• Knowledge of real time data streaming platforms

Nice to Have:

• Experience with NoSQL and column wide storage database engines
• Familiar with API definition and microservices architecture
