Job Title: T&C Propulsion Engineer
Hitachi Rail is a fully integrated, global provider of transport solutions across rolling stock, signaling services and turnkey.
This Position will be part of Propulsion, APS and TCMS supply Project Organization mainly based in Mumbai location for Testing, commissioning, and warranty phase. Candidate will be responsible for testing, commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, removal/installation and resolving all the issues arises during commissioning/warranty stage.
Responsible for execution of day to day various activities at site
Responsible to execution of Test & commissioning, warranty activities of MRS1 project at depot
Responsible to support the trains under defect liability period till the period of two years after the last train has been handed over to Employer’s representative.
Performing fault investigations and repair of failures as soon as they appear
Preparing and submitting failure investigation reports
Inspection for any abnormalities & reporting to superiors
Executing modification programs at site
Complies with site EHS procedures
1. Core Skills
Able to plan and perform the tasks with minimal management direction on technical issues and Quality findings with UTO trains.
Strong teamwork skills with good verbal and written communication skills
VCC knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Should be able to understand and communicate with Japanese / Italian engineers.
Flexible for night shifts
Good knowledge in excel / power point
2. Beneficial Skills
Bachelor’s degree with Electrical and Electronics engineering with 4 - 6 years of experience
Working with Japanese companies is an added advantage
4 - 6 years of experience in Testing and commissioning in Propulsion and TCMS systems
